On Wednesday (March 13th), Day 1 of the TOKEN2049 conference in Hong Kong, Vitalik Buterin presented a status report on current Ethereum research and development efforts, and gave examples of things happening in the Ethereum ecosystem that he finds encouraging.
Joseph Lubin, the founder of ConsenSys, a Brooklyn, New York-based “venture production studio” focused on “building and scaling tools” and “enterprise software products” for Ethereum, has said that “we’re seeing an astonishing range of industries interested in blockchain.” ...
It looks like JPMorgan Chase is experimenting with the idea of incorporating the AZTEC protocol, which "uses cutting-edge zero-knowledge proofs to enable private transactions on Ethereum", into Quorum platform (which is an enterprise-focused version of Ethereum).

Joseph is the co-founder of Ethereum, and the founder of ConsenSys, a blockchain app development firm. Lubin also helped to set up the non-profit Ethereum Foundation and VC fund ConsenSys Ventures, which invests in decentralized blockchain applications. Lubin holds a B.S. in Engineering from Princeton University.
